DCRC Coaches - Colin Gray

Colin Gray will be joining Kelsey with the Junior crews. Having spent the last four years as head coach at a club in central New York state, Colin is happy to be back in Canada. Colin started rowing in the fall of 1992 with the University of Winnipeg. Following graduation, he moved to Calgary and competed with the Calgary Rowing Club's lightweight men. In the six years with CRC, he won 3 national championships (one in the straight four, two in the coxless pair). Retiring from competitive rowing in 2000, coaching just seemed to be a natural progression - starting with Calgary's rec/masters group and filling in coaching roles as they opened up. As the Calgary Junior coach, his crews brought home gold medals from Henley, Canada Cup, and CanAmMex.

Colin is a NCCP Level 3 candidate coach and the High School Coordinator for Rowing BC.
