Regattas - Head of the Gorge / Elk (Victoria, BC)

Held each year over the last weekend in October. Saturday is a 4k race starting at The Empress Hotel and featuring many crews dressing up for Hollowe'en. Sunday's race has crews racing around both Elk and Beaver Lakes for a total of 7k. Both races are considered to be great trainind tools and a good judge of athlete fitness before heading into winter training.

• Due to the race format, equipment limitations mean only Club Development crews will be invited.
• Leave Friday evening, return Sunday evening.
• Trailer: loading Thursday evening, unloading Monday
• Junior Athletes/Chaperones stay at a local hotel. Contact Regatta Cordinator for more details.
• Athletes must stay at site Saturday until regatta concludes to help with loading the boats for transportation to Elk Lake.
