Get started with a new sport in just 10 hours! Join a group of friends for a fun water activity. Learn the basics of rowing from the terminology to the skills required to row a racing shell. Participation in a Learn to Row (LTR) will prepare you for the summer and fall Programs.Click here for more information.

Each school generally has two practices during the week, morning or afternoon, with one additional practice on either Saturday or Sunday morning. This allows for development of technique during the week and a longer fitness based workout on the weekend.Click here for more information.
The Spring Rowing Season is the major competitive season. All athletes train and race as part of the Deep Cove Rowing Club Junior Program.Selection of crews is based on in-boat performance, ergometer testing, seat racing, technical proficiency, crew compatibility, coach-ability and attendance.
