Learn to Row Programs

Come learn to row in beautiful Deep Cove. Get a group of friends together or come on your own and meet other new rowers. We will take you through an introduction to rowing techniques, equipment, safety and terminology. You will learn with others in a racing shell, under the guidance of our certified coaches. Junior Rowing

Junior rowing programs include anyone in grades 7-12 in highschool. Students row for their respective schools, or if they are not attending a school fielding a team, students row for the North Shore team. Competitive rowing, recreational, and summer camps are available. Click here for more information on available junior rowing programs.

Adult Rowing

Both competitive and recreational rowing programs are available all year round for adults (age 19yrs and up). Click here for more information on adult rowing programs.

Corporate Rowing

The Corporate Rowing Challenge is once again looking for participants from businesses, groups and clubs for the 9th annual event.

Rowing to Synergy - The Ultimate Team Building Experience is also available as a corporate rowing program custom designed to provide team-building training.

NOTE: All rowers in ongoing programs must pay an annual DCRC membership fee.

  • For recreational, learn to row, high school, summer camp programs and Corporate Challenge participants the annual membership fee is $25.
  • For competitive rowers (those that compete in Rowing Canada Sanctioned Regattas) the annual fee is $60.
  • These fees cover membership in Rowing Canada and insurance costs. Program fees are paid in addition to membership fees.
