Have you ever been part of a team that really worked well together? Do you want to recreate that synergy? Rowing to Synergy is a custom designed program that provides team building training.
Do you recognize the need for team development? Are you planning some activities for that purpose?
Within the Rowing to Synergy program you will develop the skills in the art of rowing, and in the art of creating a more effective working team. By using high caliber rowing coaches, motivational speakers, and expert team facilitators we can create customized 1 or 2 day sessions, 3 to 5 day retreats, or a 5 or 10 week series that includes rowing sessions once or twice during the week.
We work with companies to create a learning environment that addresses company specific goals and experience practical techniques that can be used in the workplace.
All proceeds go to the Deep Cove Rowing Club, a community-based Not for Profit amateur sports club dedicated to inspiring and providing for a lifelong passion for the sport of rowing. Our athletes come from all three municipalities on the north shore, and from all walks of life. We have a strong high school program (140 students), a masters program (aged 27 to 70+), and diverse selection of programs including; learn to row, corporate challenge, youth at risk learn to row, and deaf rowing.
The sport of rowing is the ultimate team building experience and provides a positive recreational opportunity to teach various skills that are important to successful business teams.
We will your group through the basics of rowing technique, terminology and safety. Crews will row in boats of four or eight, practicing under the guidance and instruction of experienced rowing coaches. The customized workshop led by experienced team building facilitators builds upon the concepts that were experienced in the rowing session. Each program is custom designed to integrate your company’s culture and goals.
Registration fees cover liability insurance, administration, coaching, and use of facility and equipment. Prices do not include GST.
Full payment must be received before a session time can be reserved. Payments can be made online North Vancouver Recreation Commission www.northvanrec.com or by calling them at 604-987-PLAY (7529)
If you choose to withdraw from the event, there will be a 15% administrative fee.
In the unforeseen circumstance that a session is cancelled, we will do our best to reschedule.
